This hat is important part of the culture of Jauja, a small city located in Peru. The hat was designed to be an accessory the women dress in the dance named “Tunantada”, very popular in Jauja. However, currently is a daily wear hat to Jauja's people.

Regard to production, artisan put a little glue to the canvas giving form to the hat, after is dyed of white, and finally is decorate with shiny ribbon.
